redbicy.jpgThe Red Bicyclette label is from France. Of all their offerings, I like the Rosé the best. In the glass the color is a pretty vibrant pink. You definitely get a whiff of the strawberries and raspberries that you want from a Rosé in the nose. This wine is a blend of Syrah, Grenache, and Cinsault so there is some complexity to the taste. On the dry side but the berry flavors are definitely there. I would call the mouth feel medium – it is not whimpy.

Again, like all good Rosés, this wine was meant to go with all the foods of summer. Because it is on the dry side, I would only go so far on the spice meter with your favorite ethnic cuisine.

Widely available and a very reliable, fun wine.
